How about a turmeric bread in a frying pan? It's low carb and can be prepared in 5 minutes?

I called it turmeric bread, buuuut….actually, the turmeric is optional! It’s also very good without it. In any case, I think it adds a fantastic touch and I suggest you try it. 🙂

I hope you like it 🙂

Ingredients

1 large egg

3 tablespoons (level) of ground flaxseed or almond flour – use Prozis – code MAMAPALEO gives 10% discount on everything

2 tablespoons (level) of ground sunflower seeds – I used Bio Origins – code MAMAPALEO10 gives 10% discount on everything

-1 teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil

-1 teaspoon of baking powder for cakes

-1 teaspoon of turmeric (optional) – I used Bio Origins – code MAMAPALEO10 gives 10% discount on everything

-pinch of salt

Preparation:

Mix all the flours and yeast well. Then add the beaten eggs, olive oil, turmeric and a pinch of salt.

The dough should be thick. If it is too runny (this may vary slightly depending on the size of the egg), add a little more of one of the flours. If it is too thick, add another egg or a little water or olive oil.

Heat a non-stick frying pan, lightly greased with olive oil (only if necessary). Then, with the pan on the smallest setting and on the lowest heat, pour the dough into the pan to a height of about 1 cm. For a fluffier and taller bread, change the height to 1,5 cm.

Decorate with seeds (optional) and cover with a lid, let it cook for about 1 to 2 minutes. Finally, uncover and turn the bread, let it cook for another 30 seconds and remove from the pan. Cut in 2 horizontally and it is ready to use.

If you have any questions about the preparation, just watch this video (it's about another bread, but the preparation method is identical)
